Goldin Furniture is located in the historic Greenport Auditorium in Greenport, Long Island. The Greenport Auditorium was constructed in 1894 by an architect by the name of Mr. Flack. This building once a cinema treasure through 1938, is now owned and operated by Owner, Andy Aurichio, of Goldin Furniture.
The Greenport Auditorium features the Goldin Furniture home store products in a unique and interesting way. The lower level of the home store was used to seat 300 people and now it eloquently showcases the full line of Hunter Douglas window treatments as you walk inside. To the right as you walk in, you’ll find a very eye-catching display of the latest Hunter Douglas blinds, shades and shutters.
The left hand side of the store on the lower level features a huge selection of carpeting and area rugs. You can easily flip through rolls and samples of carpet colors and textures with plenty of room to spare and you’ll receive expert guidance from Andy. As you stroll through the archways of what is now Goldin Furniture, you clearly get a sense of the building’s history. As you go through the showroom with high ceilings and a balcony that used to seat 100 people, you can view an entire collection of furniture samples from traditional to modern.
The experience shopping at Goldin Furniture cannot be matched by any other furniture store in Greenport or the surrounding areas. You just might find yourself sitting at a chair or table, kitchen set, dining room set, living room set or bedroom set taking in the scene of this once historic building. It wouldn’t be surprising if you took in the view from a Sealy Posturepedic mattress just below the balcony. Sit back, relax and shop with professionals with over 50 years experience!
